Journey Into Life

I am growing...

Wooh hoo... It's been a long long time that my mummy snake had posted here... She's been real busy with her life and now, with some spare time. She is back again... So what have I been doing in the past 2 months? Well, I started teething and drooling since early Apr and my little tooth started to show when I'm 6mths old. Oh yeah, I've crossed my 6mths mark in early April. Then with the un-comfortable little tooth, I started to catch flu bug from my cousins. Well, that's was nothing and I recovered fast but my poor snakey mummy caught the bug from me and fallen sick the same week I recovered.

Nothing much after that, it's all about me learning to play, sit and eating semi-solid food. Snakey mummy introduced carrot porridge to, and yes, I love it. Now, at 8mths, I enjoy porridge more than my mummy's milk...:). Snakey mummy has introduced sweet potato porridge, ikan billis and scallop porridge to me. She has tried green pea porridge, but somehow I don't fancy it... maybe she had put in too much green peas... :)

Me and my porridge time

Then at 7mth, I started another episode of havoc to my parent. I developed fever, flu and little cough which happened on Snakey Mummy's 1st mother day... Hahaha... Mummy said, that's the best mother's day gift she gotten. Look at me, how sick I look...
Look, how cold am I???!!!!

Then the worst yet to come, I'm down with ROSEOLA... It's an episode of rashes developed after a high fever... Glad nothing to worry about and I recovered after a few days. This also means I've recovered and can start my chatty chatty self again.

I also celebrated my snakey mummy's birthday on 18th May @ the Bird Park. I guess the same for the bird park trip, the birds looked at me instead I looked at them. But I behaved better at the bird park, maybe it's not crowded on that weekday. We had a good buffet lunch and surprises for snakey mummy too. I was shocked that so many aunties and uncles sang song to my snakey mummy.

At my 8mth, I've started to sit unsupported at times, rolls/flips back and front steadily, I love to stand and do my jelly dance, I start to be yakking, yakking, yakking and I guess what melts my snakey mummy most is the sayang I gave her on her face. I also know how to pretend to cry for attention, want to be part of the play team with my cousins, don't like my parent to snatch what I hold in hands (I screamed and cried and ganna scolded by my snakey mummy), I chucker at anything silly (just like my mummy and maid). I love to stamp my hands on the table, like to be kiss everyday and I'm learning what is hands, nose and mouth. I also love colourful books and I've a collection of buggy books, I learn to read (most of the times, I bite the book).

Times flies... When I was in mummy's tummy last year this time, I gave her my first kick and that's how I learn kicking is fun till today. I'm now looking forward to my next overseas trip with my parent. Destination: Malaysia... And I'll be visiting my cousins there too... Here I come KL in late Jun if everything goes well... Till then..., my snakey mummy hopes she can spare an hour to update my blog more frequent too... She's going to be busy for the next 2 weeks due to the Roadshow... Haiz...
